Meredith

Meredith (30) spent most of the year traveling (every other week) for work to California, Las Vegas, Wisconsin, Seattle and eastern Washington, Arizona, and other places as Territory Manager with her former employer. Wanting a change of pace and a role more suited to her interests, in November she accepted a role as Program Manager, for a local company (https://conmet.com/) headquartered in Vancouver, WA just down the road from her and Ian’s home.

Meredith and Ian hosted visits from cousins in March to show them around their part of the PNW. Marty, Kelli, and Olivia visited to celebrate Meredith’s 30th birthday with a cold, wet trip to the Woodburn Tulip Festival (OR), and lots of wine tasting and good food.  Marty, Kelli, Dustin, and Hannah visited in September where they saw beautiful views and flowing waterfalls, Multnomah Falls being the most popular.

Meredith and Ian visited the Homestead for Memorial Weekend, and Meredith took a “Sisters'" trip to Chicago in the summer hosted by Olivia.  They hit favorite local spots and caught a Cubs game.  Meredith and Ian also visited San Diego with Ian's mom, Amy, in the fall. They ate lots of good Mexican food, saw beautiful views of the pacific coast at Torrey Pines State Park, and had a fun day at the San Diego Zoo. 

This year's big house project was the front patio, which took several weekends to accomplish.  The couple continues to enjoy camping, paddle boarding, board and video games, reading and crafts, estate sale-ing, and trying out new recipes at home.
